Your Feedback
"Thank you for a wonderful car and for the fantastic service we received from yourselves both before we arrived, whilst booking and also when picking up the car. We really appreciated your help. The car was amazing, it was so smooth to drive and very comfortable. We have already recommended you to two sets of friends who live in the Auckland area and will also recommend you to friends at home in the UK if they travel to NZ."

Walks in Auckland
Auckland has some wonderful walks to explore, from volcano treks and sculpture trails through to tranquil bushwalks in the surrounding ranges.
Auckland Central:
Waterfront Sculpture Walk: This short trail takes in seven sculptures including Auckland's iconic Maori Warrior and Eric Orr's Fire Window at Viaduct Harbour. For details contact Auckland City Council, phone 379 2020.
Sculpture Walk, Auckland Domain: This short self-guided walking tour takes in eight sculptures by leading New Zealand artists. A brochure is available from the Auckland Museum foyer.
Rangitoto Island: The walk to the summit of this bush-clad island volcano leads through Pohutukawa forest to breathtaking views of the Hauraki Gulf. Ferries depart from Pier 2 on Quay Street. Contact Fullers Cruises, phone 367 9111.
Maungakiekie (One Tree Hill) Summit: This ancient Maori pa (fortified village) site in Cornwall Park offers dramatic 360 degree views of the city. Guided walks take place over summer, phone 630 8485 or email huialodge@xtra.co.nz.
Auckland North:
North Head Historic Walk: You can walk to this old volcanic headland and former World War II military station from Devonport. A self guided trail leads past tunnels, guns and defences. The views of the harbour and city from here are stunning.
Auckland West:
Muriwai Gannet Colony (Takapu Refuge): A short scenic boardwalk from the parking area at Muriwai Beach offers superb views of the birds (August to March) and the rugged coast.
Kitekite Track (1.8km): This walk starts from Glen Esk Road carpark at Piha and leads to a beautiful three-tiered waterfall.
This summer the festival is located at one of Auckland City’s newest sites, the newly revamped Silo Park, Wynyard Quarter, Beaumont Street. The recently developed Auckland Waterfront with spectacular views to the Harbour Bridge and the towering restored silos will provide the backdrop for 2012’s coolest indie line-up.
Over the last three years, the Laneway Festival NZ has hosted many brilliant musical acts including Echo and the Bunnymen, Daniel Johnston, The 3Ds, Foals, Yeasayer, The Dirty Three, Deerhunter, Beach House, Blonde Redhead & Childrens Hour. Once again these ground-breaking, genre-bending musicians – some of which will be your recent discoveries and others soon-to-be your new favourites, will play this one day festival. And one thing unites them all: they are spine-tinglingly amazing live.
